Safely Opening Back Up

Hello from Bananarama! As with many around the world, we here at Bananarama were adversely affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and were forced to close our doors for over 6 months in 2020. After much reflection, training, and preparation, we are proud to announce that Bananarama and it's facilities, Vintage Pearl, The Thirsty Turtle, and Pizzarama are all again open for business.

Our hours of operation are still changing frequently so please pay attention to our social media pages or scroll to the bottom of this page to stay up to date on the latest information regarding our operating hours. With that being said this did not happen overnight, many steps and precautions have been put In place to help ensure everyone's health and safety during our reopening process.

Precautions Being Implemented

With our reoppening underway there have been many precautions put in place here at Bananarama. Our staff has undergone new training in order to make staff and guest interaction as safe as possible. All staff members are required to wear masks at all times while at Bananarama and temperatures are taken daily before arriving at our facility. We are also requesting that any guests and/or visitors also join us in this practice and please wear face coverings when in public areas. New sanitary measures have also been put in place such as physical glass between guests and reception, as well as easily accessible hand sanitizing stations being placed throughout our facilities. Frequent hand washing is being practiced umongst staff, and we ask that guests please join us in this as well. Any surfaces that guests or staff may interact with are regularly being sanitized and wiped clean as part of our initiative to keep Bananarama safe. This especially applies to high trafficked areas such as bathrooms, tables, handrails, etc...

*7/1/2021 UPDATE* As of July 1st, those who have been given both doses of the vaccine and are fully vaccinated are no longer required to present a negative covid test upon entry into Roatan. Only the vaccination card is required.
In order to come and visit us here on Roatan during this time, the government of Honduras is requiring any and all persons entering the country first complete and receive a negative Covid test within 72 hours of arrival to Honduras. The test can be either a PCR, Antigen, or Sars Rapid test, which are all the most popular and readily available Covid-19 tests.

PCR and Antigen tests are both accepted to return to the United States and both are offered here locally on Roatan. For travel to Canada, from Roatan, only a PCR test is accepted by the Canadian government.
